This gel holds my curls without leaving them crunchy or hard. Even if I run my hands through the curls, they still hold their shape. The gel is easy to apply because it's smooth and thin and leaves no clumps.
It is light product with a gently hold. It only holds my curl for one day and then I need to refresh my curls but that isn't a problem. I like that it isn't heavy. My husband has started using it and loves it for his curls :-)
This product literally saved my curls. I had been struggling for YEARS trying to find something that would hold my curls, keep frizz at bay, and wouldn’t make my hair crunchy. I cannot recommend this product to my curly haired gals. Added bonus is that Gabi, the founder, really does her research with the ingredients and is so easy to contact.
My curls made themselves seen when I was in middle school. It took me years to figure out how to care for and style my hair and I thought I had a pretty good plan. Until I found Bright Body Flaxseed & Oat Protein Curly Hair Gel! First I will say it's name is somewhat deceiving- it feels more like a soft cream than a traditional "gel." That said it feels nourishing and wonderful in my hair and leaves my curls full and defined but not heavy and weighed down. I am so excited I found Gabi and I am excited some day soon we will have her products in bulk at our store.
I have type 3b-c curly hair and I have a been consistently using this product for over a year. This product has been my holy grail. It took so many trials to find the perfect product and this has been it. Because of the Flaxseed added, it does not dry out my hair nor harden. The product is not heavy on your hair so it does not weight your curls down. I love the scent as well! One down fall is that does not have a long lasting hold. So I do add other products for extra hold. Overall, it’s an amazing product and highly recommend it. PS I wish there was a bigger bottle :(
