Post-Wash Herbal Lemon Rinse
This daily-use, post-wash rinse serves three purposes: to pH balance your hair and scalp, to condition and add shine, and to remove buildup from your hair. All Bright Body hair products are within appropriate pH ranges, but finishing up your hair cleansing routine with this Post-Wash Rinse helps to fully “close” the hair cuticle, allowing it to seal in moisture and nutrients, stay strong, and reduce frizz. The ingredients in this rinse are designed to help break down and wash away waxy and greasy build up to leave your hair healthy, conditioned, and shiny. For use after Bright Body hair cleansers (and nourishing curl conditioner, if applicable) on wash days and by itself on in-between wash days.
- Use this as the last part of your daily (or every other day) hair cleansing routine.
- After washing with the oat & aloe cleanser, take a glob of the post-wash rinse and massage it into your scalp, paying special attention to areas where you have the most oil and product build-up.
- Once you have the scalp coated, use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to distribute the rinse through the rest of your hair, coating your whole head.
- After leaving this in for 2-5 minutes, rinse out thoroughly, massaging the scalp as you go along.
Apple cider vinegar - balances pH, helps remove buildup, conditions and boost hair shine.
Sage - calms dry skin conditions like dandruff and minimizes excess oils.
Mint - soothes scalp irritation with natural anti-itch properties.
Rosemary - calms dry skin conditions like dandruff.
