Step 1: Bamboo FlexiStrong Styling Jelly. Medium-to-strong hold without microplastics, sticky residue, or crunch. The only gel in our line that works across all porosity ranges and the full curl spectrum, 2A through 4C.
Step 2: Moisture Locking Curl Refresher. The between-wash recovery cream. Recently reformulated for a creamier texture, which means a smaller amount goes further. Makes curls easy to reshape without weighing them down.

Wash day, with the jelly: After washing, gently brush or comb sopping wet hair to detangle. Depending on your hair's thickness and density, section your wet hair into 4-6 sections, then scrunch a quarter to half-dollar-sized amount of jelly into each. If desired, finger twirl individual curls or use a curl-defining brush, after scrunching in jelly. Use a cotton t-shirt (terrycloth towels can increase frizz) to scrunch out excess water. Let air dry or diffuse.
Between wash days, with the refresher: Lightly mist your curls with warm water. Then, pump a dime- to quarter-sized amount of Refresher into the palm of your hand and rub to evenly distribute. Finger-comb and/or palm product from the midpoint to ends of your hair (or anywhere you want to define curls and manage frizz). Detangle with a wide-tooth comb as needed. Air dry or diffuse as you choose.
For high porosity hair specifically: Layering FlexiStrong on top of our Flaxseed & Oat Protein Curly Hair Gel on wash day adds extra moisture and nourishment. The two gels work well together for hair that wants both a flexible film and a richer base.
Listen to your hair: Most curls can stretch the time between washes significantly with this combination. If your hair starts to feel heavy, weighed down, or buildup-prone, that's the signal that it's time for a wash.
